How to get involved:
We welcome all museums, non-profits, art institutions, design partners, green designers, citizens, and schools to join our tree-planting program. There are different ways to support and participate – including as a volunteer.
What we do:
- We organize suitable planting places for both urban and rural environments.
- We plant Miniforests together with Finnish cities, museums, and private citizens.
- We organize seedling distribution events.
- We present seminars, exhibitions, and performances.
- We work with schools to help organize workshops, seminars, and tree-planting days.
- We are helping to raise the profile of Finland’s official tree-planting day back – which takes place every year on 27.9.
To date, A Million Trees to Finland has successfully collaborated with numerous museums, art institutions, cities, and municipalities, by organizing seedlings events and seminars, and by building Miniforests together.
