The first collaboration with Turku Art Museum was on Wednesday, 1 September 2021. Free seedlings were distributed outside of the museum. The City of Turku provided recommendations and spaces for tree planting and assisted people with tree planting.
Turku Art Museum took part in A Million Trees to Finland and wants to inspire people to personally engage with the crucial issue of climate change through this participatory contemporary art project. The museum is also active in raising climate consciousness through a range of other sustainability projects and actions, both large and small.
